I’m currently Level 45 with my Dragonknight, mostly focusing on story and side quests, plus some daily dungeons. Lately, I’ve been wondering if it’s a good time to re-spec my character since my current build feels a bit off. This is my first character, and even though I’m keen to try out others later, I want to optimize my Dragonknight. So, when can I adjust my skill points and stats like magicka, health, and stamina? Thanks in advance!

If you’re using an armory station and don’t have a saved build, you can re-spec for free. Just load up an open slot and all your stats and skills will reset. Keep in mind that you’ll also need to tweak your Mundus stones and Champion Points after re-specing.
I suggest you focus on getting your Champion Points to 160 before worrying too much about re-specing. In the meantime, look into builds that fit your play style or catch your eye. You’ll likely end up re-specing a lot as you get better gear and learn more about the game.
Honestly, you can think about re-specing whenever you feel your DPS is slowing down or if you hit a content block. It’s all about what helps you progress with the type of gameplay you enjoy.
You should’ve received a skill and attribute respec scroll at level 43. Use those for a free respec! Check out guides for other tips too. It’s all about getting to level 50 where the real fun starts.
You can re-spec your character anytime you want! You have two options: purchase a respec at altars in capital cities for some gold or use respec scrolls that are available. Just remember, if you’re level 50, you’ll get scrolls for your skills and stats, which makes it easier to optimize your build.
Yep, exactly! And those free respec scrolls you get at level 50 are super handy to switch things up.
You can find respec shrines in all major cities, so just pop in whenever you feel like switching things up. There’s even one near the Elden Root way shrine, which is super convenient!
This! It’s great to be able to re-spec for free whenever you want.
