I’m playing as an 18 Altmer Magisorc and I’m curious about when I should begin tackling group dungeons. I mostly play solo and don’t have any DLC, so I’m a bit worried it might be tough to find a group through ESO’s system. Any advice on when to dive into dungeons or how to find players?

Jump in whenever you feel like it! Base game dungeons are a great entry point, especially since they’re easier than DLC dungeons. People will often group with you for daily randoms, and even if it’s your first time, just keep moving and you’ll be fine. Remember to grab any dungeon quests for extra skill points!
You might think not having DLC would make grouping hard, but it’s actually easier! Base game dungeons are a breeze, and players often prefer running them for quick queues. Just keep an eye out—you might have a mix of experienced vets zooming through it. And definitely pick up those dungeon quests for skill points!
Joining a guild can really help you learn how to play in groups since random pickups can be a bit overwhelming. When you run with a guild, you can take your time and learn at a comfortable pace!
Honestly, you can join group dungeons whenever you’re ready! Normal dungeons are pretty easy, and you can usually get through them with whatever gear you find. You’ll be matched with players around your level, so don’t stress—just have fun! You’ll gain a lot of XP and other rewards.
You can start queuing for a random normal dungeon as soon as you hit level 10. They give you transmute crystals that are super helpful later on. Even veteran players hop into these because they’re easy and give decent rewards, though the queues can be a bit longer if you’re a damage dealer.
