Hey everyone! I recently dove back into the world of Zelda and have been playing through the games. I’ve made my way from ALTTP to Wind Waker, and now I’m on Skyward Sword (just reached Eldin Volcano!). Since I’m a bit pressed for time, I usually try to play and figure things out on my own, but I often find myself turning to guides for help. I’d love to hear what you all think about using guides. Are they helpful distractions, or do they take away from the experience? Thanks for any insights!

Honestly, enjoy the games however you want! I sometimes grab guides, mostly as a collector’s item, but I like to explore the game organically until I hit a wall. It’s all about having fun, right?
Just do what feels right for you! I pull up a guide when I’m completely stumped because I want to keep enjoying the game without getting too frustrated. Remember, these games are about fun!
Play the way you prefer! I try to avoid guides on my first runs, but I don’t judge others for using them. After I’ve beaten a game a few times, I might glance at a guide for things I missed.
When playing Link’s Awakening, I felt like a guide was necessary. Some games really cater to using them since the developers know it helps players. If I’m really stuck, I’ll look something up because, honestly, time is precious!
