Hey everyone, I could really use some advice on my endgame setup for Final Fantasy III. I’ve just defeated Xande, but I’m struggling against the Dark Crystal bosses in the World of Darkness. The lack of save points during those back-to-back boss battles is making me really nervous. Why is the endgame in FFIII such a challenge?

Grinding a bit can really help! The World of Darkness offers some solid EXP from random encounters. Once you defeat a boss, you’ll get a crystal that fully heals your party. I had success using two ninjas and two sages—one for high-level black magic and the other for summons and healing. If you’ve got any Eureka gear, make sure to use it, it’s super helpful!
For my setup, I found that at least one ninja, a dedicated healer, a black magic user with Quake, and a knight worked wonders. Just stock up on throwing stars for the ninja, focus the healer on healing, and let the knight attack while spamming Quake. Don’t forget, after each boss, you can heal at the crystals—I didn’t realize that until my fourth one! 😂
