Getting deeper into Subnautica is super tense! The dark ocean depths can be terrifying, especially when you hear those creepy sounds. I remember feeling my body tense up whenever I was cruising past dark spots!
And that ‘Warning, entering ecological dead zone’ just adds to the dread!
In Red Dead 2, traveling through the swamp at night got my heart racing! I stumbled on a creepy wagon with dead bodies, and my horse just freaked out on me. Then one of those night folks jumped me out of nowhere!
Wow, I wasn’t ready for the dog to crash through the window in Resident Evil 1! That moment shocked me so much!
Even worse was the fear toxin scene in Arkham Asylum; I thought my console was crashing!
What about the first jump scare in Alien: Isolation with the Xenomorph? Hiding under tables was my best bet! Pure terror!
I barely made it past chapter 6; that game is just horrifying!

That teleporting enemy in Bioshock always gets me! You think everything’s fine, and then BAM – they’re right behind you waiting! Caught me off guard so many times!
And don’t get me started on that insane room with Sander Cohen in Fort Frolic!
Oh man, the screecher in Infinite made me jump like crazy too, even if it was scripted!
Playing HL: Alyx was wild! Getting trapped in an elevator with Jeff was genuinely terrifying until you’ve experienced it!
I couldn’t handle the tension either! VR makes everything feel way too real.
