Has anyone else noticed the insane prices people are asking for even basic items on the PS5? I just saw a common level 1 ring listed for 10,000 gold! That should cost just a few hundred, right? Do sellers even think about whether they would buy such overpriced items? It’s no wonder so many items just sit unsold for days. What’s going on with these outrageous prices? Sure, some items are rare, but a lot of what I’m seeing isn’t rare at all!

On PS5, prices are lower than on PC, where some rare motifs can go for over 100 million gold! But still, level 1 items for 10k does seem steep. Once you hit max level, trading becomes more important anyway, so for now just focus on easy dungeons to get what you need.
A lot of times, low-level rings are priced high because they’re crafted with specific traits that crafters need to research. For example, if a ring is used for unlocking traits, that can justify a higher price.
That’s true! Traits like Tri-une or Harmony are sought after for crafting, so even common items can skyrocket in price.
This kind of pricing happens in every game. It’s just players testing the waters, sometimes as a joke, or hoping someone will actually buy their overpriced items.
Remember, the game’s been around for a while, so there’s a ton of gold in circulation. People are trying to maximize profits with their guild trader slots instead of just selling cheap. It makes hunting for deals pretty tricky unless you’re constantly checking the latest items.
Exactly! Plus, you have players who buy low and sell high to make a profit, which keeps prices inflated.
Definitely! The early game is all about gathering resources, and dungeons are a much better way to gear up.
