Hey everyone! I’m getting back into the game after a two-year break and I wanted to know if the method for reaching General rank in FL is still the same. As I remember, the strategy involved using an OP premium tank if you had one, going with the Engineer skill, and making good use of inspire, spotter plane, and HP recovery. Last time, Engineering was the go-to skill for both attacking and defending. Should I still focus on capping and defending caps while using HE shells for the best damage? Any updated tips would be great! Thanks!

For my setup, I usually go with mines, Engineer, and Field Repair on all my tanks. Here are my quick tips:
– Avoid playing artillery or camping in bushes.
– Use mobile tanks that have some armor for safety.
– Be aggressive and focus on the objectives!
The quickest way to get to General is definitely to choose the Engineer skill and use a fast light tank. Make sure to cap objectives quickly and move horizontally to cap more areas. Just keep in mind that while this method is fast, it doesn’t reward a lot of credits. For better earnings, try using a medium tank with high DPM to secure kills, especially those who are capping if you’re defending, and balance between capping and dealing damage when attacking.
Totally agree! Plus, it’s more fun to go for those kills!
Here are some solid tips:
– Stay inside cap circles as much as you can.
– If enemies are capping, try to reduce their capture points.
– Always maximize damage; using HE shells on squishy targets is a great strategy.
– If defending and no enemies show up, move to a nearby zone.
– If attacking and your team gets pushed back, shift to an adjacent sector.
– Don’t forget, shooting tracked targets helps boost your rank too, and spotting damage contributes too!
That sounds about right! I remember these tips. Thanks! :)
Thanks for the insights! :)
