I appreciate the aesthetics of fridges and coolers, but I’m really trying to figure out their practical uses. Are there any items you store in fridges or coolers that would be better off in a freezer? Do you find yourself using these for extra storage when your freezer is full? It feels like they’re only there for looks and I’m not sure they’re worth it anymore, especially if the freezer has so many advantages.

I used to use that wooden cooler from the atom shop, but once I got the freezer, I hardly touched it again. They should really make these items more effective or boost their aesthetics since the freezers are just so much better.
Fridges are kind of obsolete now that we’ve had the military cryo freezer for a while. I don’t see a real reason to keep coolers or fridges around when they don’t seem to do anything compared to freezers.
Fridges do have a decent capacity—150 slots compared to the freezer’s 50. If you’ve got a lot of food items to keep from spoiling quickly, they can be useful. However, I do think that the spoil reduction should match what you get with higher ranks of Good With Salt—because right now, it feels a bit underwhelming.
Honestly, I think fridges and coolers are pretty much just for show now. They don’t really add much value. The Sugar Bombs fridge looks cool, but if you’re serious about preserving food, you’re going to want a freezer instead.
