I’m curious about how tough it is to break into around the top 130 in the Open Qualifiers for NA, EU, and MENA servers. Specifically, what player ranks do most teams or players have when they reach that range? Also, how many hours per week do they typically invest in training, like freeplay, ranked matches, and scrims? If anyone here has personal experience hitting at least top 136 in any recent Open Qualifier, please share your region and insights! Trying to get a sense of the commitment and skill level needed to compete consistently at that level. Thanks!

In EU, my team usually ranks between 1700-1800 MMR and we tend to place around top 192. We’re all pretty consistent and since we’re chasing prize money, I’d agree that hitting 1900+ is a good benchmark for getting into top 130. Definitely takes solid teamwork and regular practice.
From what I’ve seen with some friends who made top 128 in EU, you generally need to be around a 1900 MMR level or higher. That seems to be the minimum skill mark to get consistently that far.
Thanks for the EU perspective! Any clue on how many hours they grind weekly to maintain that? Would love to know the time commitment.
For MENA, most players hitting top 130 seem to hover around high Grand Champion 2 to Champion 3 rank in doubles. Compared to EU, where you might find higher ranks, MENA’s top qualifiers appear slightly lower, but still very competitive. Sometimes players don’t even have super high 3s ranks themselves and rely on team chemistry or luck.
Cool to hear about the regional differences. Makes sense that scrimming and team synergy probably play a big role too.
Appreciate the detail! How much time do you guys put in daily or weekly to sustain that level of play?
