Hey fellow gamers! I really enjoy the RPG elements in Assassin’s Creed but I’m really craving a game that focuses more on a vibrant city setting, similar to what we used to see in earlier titles. I know Assassin’s Creed Mirage is out there, and while it has its perks, it didn’t fully satisfy me. The game felt a bit underdeveloped—like it didn’t have the traditional AC budget. I missed features like more stealth kill animations, extensive customization, and a varied weapon selection.
I want a new AC game set in a huge city where we can enjoy classic elements like the assassins’ robes and hoods, customizable hidden blades, and engaging parkour. Of course, it would also be awesome to have fun interactions with NPCs who help you during fights, bringing back those good old days. With Ubisoft working on several projects, I’m hoping they have something like this in the works. What are your thoughts?

I couldn’t agree more! I loved what Ubisoft did with the expansive worlds in recent titles, but I’m craving for that intimate city stealth again. Just picture a Unity-style game with all the tech advancements we’ve had since then, plus traditional tombs to explore! That blend of old and new would be killer. Just give me a focused story with deep exploration and I’m in!
Totally with you! A new AC game that’s all about the city life would be amazing, just like Unity! It’d be awesome to see updated parkour animations too, especially if they do it with a setting like Ancient Rome at its peak or even NYC in the late 1800s. Just think of all the historical drama and fun stealth missions we could have!
Yeah! Imagine using modern parkour mechanics in such an iconic city. The dynamics of jumping around and using the city’s architecture to your advantage would be epic!
Exactly! Exploring ancient Rome or New York would bring so much energy to the gameplay. Plus, with all the people around, the interactions would be crazy!
I think a game set in Ming Dynasty Beijing would be so cool! You’d have all the tight city spaces for stealth, and the Forbidden City would make for some intense missions. Plus, it’s a different era we haven’t explored yet!
That’s a great idea! Lots of opportunities for sneaky gameplay and cultural depth. It’d be a refreshing change of pace for the series.
Honestly, I’m just tired of the RPG format. I just want a sandbox game that focuses on city exploration rather than sprawling landscapes. I don’t want to be limited by realism either. Just let me roam freely!
Absolutely! The best part of AC was always the freedom to explore and parkour without constraints, and I really miss that from the older titles.
Have you guys tried Unity or Syndicate? If you haven’t, I think you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for in those games. Unity has a fantastic city layout and really nails the parkour aspect!
I loved Syndicate! Just wish there were a few less hits required to take down enemies; it got pretty annoying at times.
For sure! Unity’s parkour is still unmatched, and we’ve kinda lost that vibe with the new RPGs.
Imagine Unity with modern graphics and depth! That’s what I’m dying to see, a game that keeps the RPG elements but focuses on an engaging story with less grinding.
