Hey everyone! I’m currently playing through the original Resident Evil 2 and I’m a bit puzzled about how the A and B scenarios work for Claire. I know that Leon A and Claire B have the same story but from different perspectives, and the same goes for Claire A and Leon B. My question is, when I play through Claire A and then switch to Claire B, is the experience the same as Claire A?

Nope, Claire A and Claire B are separate storylines with significant differences. You’re in for a new journey when you switch to Claire B!
Remember, you need to complete the A scenario for the other character first to unlock the B scenario. The opening scenes slightly differ based on which character’s A scenario you’re playing, affecting how they get to the police station. Leon A and Claire A have their unique plot twists, and the B scenarios dive into what the characters were up to simultaneously. Just a heads-up, both B scenarios introduce a stalker enemy that you won’t encounter in the A scenarios, so they’re quite different in both gameplay and story!
Claire A and Claire B are definitely not the same. Each scenario features different enemy placements, distinct areas, and the storyline varies between them. Playing Claire B will present a fresh experience, so it’s worth exploring!
