I’ve been trying out the new Blow Kiss emote, and I can’t help but wonder why it doesn’t interact with a targeted player. Wouldn’t it make sense to add a heart impact effect or a puff of pink particles when you aim it at someone? I mean, it’s a cute animation and it was much needed in GW2, but it feels off when it doesn’t interact with the target at all. Is it too much to ask for more interactivity with emotes?

Honestly, I feel you on that! It would be nice if the emote could keep our character’s wings or backs while using it, but sadly, the tech just isn’t there yet. It’s frustrating!
I think expecting that level of interaction is pushing it a bit. GW2 has always been about letting players do their own thing without messing with others.
True, but maybe they could find a way to have fun without interfering. Harpy Pheromones sort of hit the mark, right?
To be honest, asking for that from an emote feels like too much. As far as I know, no other emote even works that way. It’s more of a simple expression than a combat mechanic.
Right? Feels like some emotes should allow for that. I remember a few that do, but they seem rare.
