Hey everyone! I recently got a 100% doubloon bonus for my birthday, which says I can get a full return of doubloons. When I checked the items page linked with the coupon, I thought everything there would be available to me. I really wanted to get the Suzuya ship, but when I selected it, it asked for my credit card for $198. That doesn’t seem very “free” to me. I also tried to grab some high-value doubloon containers, but once again, I hit a paywall. If I can’t actually get any items from this page, what’s the point of them being listed? Can anyone explain what they mean by “Full Doubloon Return”? Is it only for items that have a doubloon price? Is there a maximum value? Thanks for any help!

From what I’ve seen, if you buy the biggest package, like 50k doubloons, you essentially get another 50k free, meaning 100k doubloons total. But you still have to pay for that initial package.
Yeah, even with the bonus, you still have to spend your own money to start off with. You just end up with extra doubloons alongside your purchase.
Key point: make sure to use the Premium Store website for these deals, not the in-game Armory. Anything you buy there, up to 50k doubloons, should count for the bonus, but I’m not sure about the Suzuya. Definitely check if you can apply the coupon to that one!
The coupon basically gives you back doubloons equivalent to what you buy (as much as $200). So if you pick something that costs $50, you get that item plus $50 worth of doubloons back. It sounds like you’re expecting to get items for free, but you still need to spend some cash first.
Remember, the bonus is capped at 50k doubloons. You buy something with real money, and you’ll get that amount plus some extra doubloons back, but it’s not quite a straight doubling due to how they calculate the cash value of the dubs.
