I recently upgraded my setup to an RTX 3070 and an i5 12400F, and I’ve optimized everything for performance. However, I’m only seeing around 200 FPS in Fortnite’s performance mode. Is that expected or should I be getting better? I’ve seen other players hitting 400 FPS with similar configurations, which makes me wonder if I’m missing something.

Honestly, 200 FPS in Fortnite’s performance mode isn’t bad at all! Most people would be thrilled to hit those numbers. But I get the concern—if you’re seeing others claim way higher FPS with the same setup, it might be worth checking your settings or background processes. Sometimes, those small tweaks make a big difference!
Yeah, it’s definitely a bit puzzling. Performance mode is supposed to help boost FPS, so it could be a matter of how you’re tuning your settings. Keep in mind that system performance can also depend on what else is running on your PC at the same time. Those other videos you’re seeing might be using different settings or benchmarks, too. It’s really all about finding that sweet spot for your specific setup!
