Hey everyone! I was trying to pre-order the Collector’s Edition for Assassin’s Creed in the UK, but I’m only finding overpriced listings on eBay. I’ve looked around at places like Game, Argos, Amazon, and Smyths and can’t seem to get it for the retail price.
Did the pre-order window close already, leaving only scalpers with listings on eBay? Is there a chance we might see another pre-order period closer to the game’s launch? Or should I just wait until after the release to try and grab a used copy?

I pre-ordered mine then got a refund because they told me Ubisoft stopped making it. Now I’m just stuck with the standard version. It’s frustrating that the situation is so unclear—an official statement would be nice! I tried negotiating on eBay too, but sellers are sometimes just scummy with their pricing.
Yeah, it’s weird that Ubisoft wouldn’t want to profit more, especially since many people want the Collector’s Edition. I’ve heard they might not even be producing more units due to the backlash the game has gotten. I just want to wait and see if Amazon gets some stock before launch!
I think they might’ve refunded a bunch of Collector’s Editions, but it seems like most stores are out of stock now. I tried contacting a few places too, and either they had nothing or just didn’t reply. Really hope the prices drop later!
