I recently saw a CAMP that looked like a gothic castle at first glance, but then I noticed a witch’s hat on a chair and realized it was an amazing recreation of the Great Hall from Harry Potter. It had floating candles, cozy fireplaces, robed mannequins, and even caged owls—it was incredibly well done! I’m curious though, what’s the best CAMP build you’ve randomly discovered while exploring Appalachia? I know there are plenty of great ones on YouTube, but I’d love to hear about the hidden gems you’ve come across!

I saw a camp built around a giant inflatable dinosaur, like a colossal war beast! I’m not a jealous type, but I wish I had come up with that idea first—it was brilliant!
I’m into the simpler builds that still look great! I appreciate the camps that feel like they belong in the game, like a cozy three-story metal house I made. I also saw one right by a river with LED-lit Nuka Cola bottles—it looked stunning at night! It’s amazing how effective good lighting can be.
I found a massive escape room built in a shelter. It’s a real maze filled with puzzles! Whoever made it really nailed it; they might even have a background in game design or are super into escape rooms.
There’s a whole community dedicated to creating escape rooms in the game! I’ve built one myself. Some of them really go all out with multimedia and roleplay!
I’ve heard about this Legendary Vendor who sometimes sets up as this tightly guarded fortress at his spot. I’m curious how he pulls off that transformation when he hits max caps! What a mysterious setup.
I found one designed like a meat processing plant, complete with all sorts of decorations. The owner was just hanging out, streaming an old documentary about meat packing—it was hilariously thematic!
I came across a Tie-Fighter, an X-Wing, and the best build was an AT-AT. It was insane how creative people can get with their CAMP builds!
There was this incredible gothic manor I spotted while vendor hopping, just south of Crater. It had two doors for eyes, big ultracite shards for ears, and an adorable pink nose made from a Slocum Joe vendor bot. Such a creative touch!
Since you brought up Harry Potter, I stumbled upon a CAMP connected to multiple shelters, one of which was Harry Potter themed! Unfortunately, the owner logged off before I could check it all out, but I managed to record a good chunk of it. Here’s the clip: [Clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXAFcFXOnxg). The amount of effort put into that was mind-boggling!
That sounds awesome! It’s such a treat to discover someone’s passion project; you can tell they put in a ton of effort.
