Hey everyone! I’m trying to record some gameplay from my old PS2, but I’m really not satisfied with the video quality I’m getting. The graphics just don’t match up to the high-quality stuff I see online, especially when it comes to the edges of character models and overall texture quality due to the lower native resolution. I’m looking for any tips on how to improve this. I’m not entirely sure about discussing emulation here, but any help or suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!

You might want to consider investing in a good video upscaler or using an emulator. Emulation can give you a higher resolution and anti-aliasing which makes everything look smoother and clearer. Upscalers can help enhance the graphics of original hardware too, which might be useful if you’re looking for that authentic feel with better visuals. Just a thought!
It’s totally doable! A lot of YouTube channels actually record from emulators on PC and do their voiceovers later. If you want to stick with the PS2, you could also use a high-quality component cable setup to get better video output, even from games that don’t support 480p. Just make sure to have a good screen recording software. There are some great free options out there!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely look into those component cables and recording software. Appreciate it!
