Hey everyone! I’m planning to switch from PS4 to PC this summer and I’ve built quite a sizable library on my PlayStation. I really don’t want to abandon it all. Is there any way to run my PS4 games on my PC like an application, so that I can transition smoothly between gaming on my PS4 and my PC? Also, I’m really interested in PC features like playing while on Discord calls, sharing screens with friends, and using OBS for streaming instead of the PS4’s built-in recorder. Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately, you can’t run your PS4 games directly on your PC like an application. But, you can definitely consider streaming your PS4 to your PC using tools like Remote Play. It’s not the same as having it integrated into your OS but it might help you transition. Also, for PC gaming, you might want to check out Xbox Game Pass—it’s pretty affordable and has a large library of games you might enjoy!
The best option is probably just to keep both your PS4 and PC. Many gamers do this! You can still enjoy gaming on both platforms without needing to give up your PS4 library. Plus, think about how your space is laid out. If you’re short on room, maybe you can set up a dual-monitor system on your PC and use one for your PS4 streaming. It can seamlessly blend your gaming experience.
To be honest, there’s no way to transfer your PS4 games to PC. If you really want to play them, keeping your PS4 might be your best bet. But don’t worry! Many popular PS4 games are now available on PC too, so you could check if any of your favorites have made the jump. And the Steam library has so many options, you won’t run out of games to play!
Yeah, that’s a good point! I just don’t have much space, but I’d hate to miss out on classic PS4 titles.
