Hey everyone! I’ve just started playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance (KCD1) and I need some advice on handling stolen goods. I know the millers can buy them, but it seems like they’re offering way less than what the items are worth, especially for armor and weapons. Should I try selling in another town, like to the armorers or other vendors, or is the price difference not really worth the extra travel? Really enjoying the game but just a bit confused about the best approach here!

A sneaky strategy is to sell to the miller and then later steal items back from his chest! It’s a quick way to make a little extra on the side as long as you don’t mind the risk of getting caught.
Selling to the right vendor can help you get a better price, but in the long run, you’ll earn enough money mid to late game that you won’t stress too much about it. You can also just throw the stolen stuff into your chest and ride it out until it’s safe to sell. Just don’t expect to sell for the full value—you’ll only see a small percentage back.
A good tip is to stash your stolen items in your personal chest for a while. This will allow the ‘stolen’ status to wear off over time, making them sellable at full price later. Just keep in mind, more expensive items can take a while to launder this way, so plan accordingly!
You can definitely stash the loot and let the stolen tag drop off. Plus, if you’re taking your time with looting, you’ll end up with plenty of cash soon anyway, so the immediate prices won’t matter much. Just don’t keep them on your horse since that’s a risky spot if you get searched!
