I’d recommend using Prism Launcher. It’s pretty reliable and works well for Java Minecraft.

I personally use Prism Launcher along with the Controlify mod if I’m playing Java. But honestly, Bedrock is just a click away in Discover, which makes it super convenient!

I’m all about Bedrock because it’s super easy to download and you can use a controller right away. Just a heads up, it’s the Pocket Edition version, but it’s really straightforward!
