Hey everyone! I’m looking to buy a PS5 for a friend who lives in Germany while I’m stuck in the US. The console’s quite expensive over there, costing around 500 euros. I have about $500 to spend, which converts to roughly 430 euros after transferring it via PayPal. She could cover the difference, but I want to know if there’s a cheaper or easier way to get her the console. We’re considering going digital since she’s okay with that, but she’d really prefer the disc version. Additionally, with shipping being a hassle right now, sending her a PS5 from the US doesn’t seem ideal. I’m also thinking about getting a PS5 Pro soon and then just gifting her my current PS5, which is less than a year old. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You could try using Amazon Germany! It looks like your US Amazon account should work there, and you can ship directly to her address. That way, you avoid the whole shipping thing entirely. Just make sure to compare prices before you buy!

Thanks for the heads up! Quick question though: why is the Astro Bot version cheaper when it includes a full game? It seems a bit odd to me!
