I’m looking to buy a good GPU around 350 USD in Europe, preferably a used one. My goal is to get solid 1440p gaming performance if possible, or if not, at least high-end 1080p. I currently have an RTX 3060 but want to upgrade. I can stretch my budget by about 50 USD if needed. What GPUs would you recommend, and should I wait for upcoming releases or deals?

On the used market, you can sometimes score a Radeon 6800 XT or even an RTX 3080 close to your budget—around 400 USD or even less. Those GPUs offer great 1440p performance that will definitely beat an RTX 3060. It might take some hunting, but definitely keep an eye out for those deals.
You might want to check local prices on RX 7700 XT. For example, if you’re seeing it for around 423 USD, that’s a bit above your budget but could be worth it if you can stretch that extra 50. It’s solid for 1440p gaming and future-proof to some extent.
Yeah, I was also eyeing the RX 6800 as a potential upgrade. It’s strong for high-res gaming and might be found near your price range if you shop used carefully.
If you’re set on waiting, I’d suggest holding out for AMD’s new GPU releases. Once those drop, older cards will likely get price cuts, which could give you better bang for your buck on the used market. Also, I wouldn’t rush into buying Nvidia right now, especially with the 40-series and rumored 50-series being quite similar; AMD might offer better value soon.
Thanks for the tip! I’m actually considering stepping up my budget a bit if the card justifies it.
