I’m looking for the best tabletop RPG to run for a group of friends who are in their 20s and are big video game enthusiasts. They’ve played games like Baldur’s Gate 3 but think that tabletop RPGs may be too nerdy or slow-paced to enjoy. I really want to change their minds and get it right. What game can I set up to show them how fun tabletop RPGs can be?

I recommend trying a game that’s much different from video games, like QuestWorlds or Fate Accelerated. These games focus more on storytelling and character development than mechanics, which can help showcase what tabletop RPGs can do that video games can’t.
