Hey everyone! I’m on a quest to boost my achievement points by a hefty 1669 in the next 6 days. Is it even feasible?
I’m considering converting all my account’s resources into gold and then into gems to snag Living World Seasons 3 to 5 while they’re on sale. Plus, the 400 gems from hitting 5000 achievement points would be a huge help! I have a lot of gold farming ahead of me, haha.
Just to give you some background: I own Heart of Thorns (HoT) and Path of Fire (PoF), and I plan to grab End of Dragons (EoD) soon; I might also pick up some Shadows of the Underworld (SoTO). Currently, I have 154 gold and if I liquidate my material storage, I could make around 410 gold, which could help me get a Living World Season and farm for more points.
I’m free this whole week, so I’ve got a solid 6 days to dive headfirst into farming. Any solid advice? Oh, and could you recommend which Living World Season is the best for farming achievement points and gold?
Also, please don’t suggest that I buy gems—I find that currency to be a total drag. I might consider it just to fill the gaps if I fail to farm everything before the sale ends.
P.S. I’ve already completed all the core Tyria jumping puzzles, so that’s a bummer! Looking forward to your tips!

Living World Seasons are gold mines for achievement points. Starting from Season 3 is a good idea since it has easier AP achievements. I suggest filtering your achievements using gw2efficiency.com to see what’s left unfinished. It’ll guide you on which are easier to pick up. Fractals and boss events are your best bets for generating gold quickly!
Honestly, if you can manage to complete raid and fractal achievements, you’ll surpass that target. They give decent rewards that can be turned into gold and gems. Just make sure you’re focusing on gathering those achievement points plus doing meta events—it’s a worthwhile combo!
Nice! I’m working on that too, but finding raid groups can be a challenge. I’ve been spamming T3 fractals whenever I get the chance!
You might want to chill a bit—Living World Seasons always go on sale again, so you don’t need to rush too hard. But if you’re set on going all out, try focusing on farming about 200 gold to easily convert that into 400 gems. You can achieve this in a day by doing daily fractals and strikes, plus hitting up meta events for a couple of hours. The more you do, the closer you’ll get to your goal!
Haha, sounds like a good plan! Just keep it steady; farming 1669 AP in one week feels pretty daunting!
Just checked that site, it’s super helpful! I’m planning to farm Dragon’s End and spam Drizzlewood regularly.
