I’m trying to plan my runs for Horrific Visions and want to know which masks are the easiest to deal with when going for a 5 faceless mask run. Also, are there specific masks that I should avoid to make my run smoother?

The three masks I’d recommend avoiding are Long Night, Daredevil, and Vengeance. These can really throw a wrench in your plans since Long Night halves your sanity, while Daredevil ramps up the damage you’ll take and Vengeance just bolsters your enemies. The rest can be annoying but manageable.
When running 5 masks, my thumb rule is to keep moving and maintain your cooldowns, especially against mini bosses. Nemesis is great for regaining sanity on kills, and overall it’s about knowing your strategies and positioning. Undergeared players will definitely have a tougher time, though!
For my 5 masks, I usually go with Long Night, Dark Imagination, Nemesis, and Vengeance. I often choose Burned Bridge for my fifth unless I’m playing a melee character, then I’ll opt for Pained if the madness isn’t extreme. Long Night is decent if it’s not paired with too many bad combinations.
I just did a 5 mask run with a high-protection warrior, using Burned Bridge, Daredevil, Dark Imagination, Nemesis, and Vengeance. I could swap out Daredevil for something else as a warrior since I can interrupt a lot of attacks. Dark Imagination, Nemesis, and Vengeance are fun, and I find Burned Bridge is manageable without much hassle. I haven’t unlocked Multitudes yet, but I don’t plan on going beyond 5 masks anyway.
I agree that Daredevil, Long Night, and Vengeance are tough. However, for the easier masks, I’d go with Multitudes, Nemesis, Burned Bridge, and Dark Imagination. For your fifth mask, Pained is usually a safe choice unless the madness effects are particularly nasty that week.
Yeah, Multitudes can cause issues too, especially if you’re dying against regular mobs. It does help with sanity during tough runs, but you might find it challenging in the long run.
Totally with you on Long Night. It’s one of the easier masks unless you pair it with something like Daredevil.
