Hey everyone, I’m gearing up for a long flight—around 16 hours—and I’m looking for the best stand or holder for my Steam Deck that would work well in an airplane setting. Specifically, I’m hoping to secure the Steam Deck against the seat back so I can set a keyboard and mouse on the tray. I want to dive into some RPGs like Fallout New Vegas without needing to bring a heavy laptop. Any suggestions? Thanks!

For my flights, I just use the tray table and a kickstand that I attached to the Steam Deck. It works pretty well and keeps it at a nice angle for gameplay! Just make sure the kickstand is sturdy enough to handle a bit of turbulence.
If you can find a portable stand that’s adjustable, that could give you more flexibility. Some of those stands can really help position your Steam Deck perfectly for airline seating. Just make sure it’s compact enough to fit in your carry-on!
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll look for one that’s easy to pack!
Great tip! I’d also recommend checking the stability of the tray table before putting too much weight on it, especially during takeoff and landing.
