I’m putting together a new PC build and my estimated power consumption is around 550W. Do you think I should go for a 650W or 750W power supply? Here’s my build for reference: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hFs8C8).

650W will work, but if you can snag the 750W for just a couple bucks more, go for that. It’s a good idea to have additional capacity for upgrades down the line.
I’d recommend going for the 750W PSU. It’s smart to have some headroom for future upgrades and unexpected power spikes. If your budget allows, an 850W is even better for long-term peace of mind.
Definitely aim for the 850W option. The cost difference is usually minimal, and it gives you extra capacity for any future components that might draw more power.
750W minimum! Power spikes can surprise you; peaks can occasionally push your components above their rated consumption. You want to avoid stressing your PSU.
850W or even 1000W would be wise. I learned my lesson with power capacity; you don’t want to skimp on something as crucial as the PSU. It affects stability and performance!
