Hey everyone! I’m in the market for a new gaming laptop and would love your advice. My budget is around $1000, maybe a bit more. I’m currently considering the Lenovo LOQ with a Ryzen 7 7435HS and RTX 4070, or the Legion 5 with either i7 or i9 paired with an RTX 4060. The Legion 5 is about $200 more. Should I stick with these options, or is there a better brand or model out there? Thanks so much for any help!

If you can stretch your budget to $1149, check out the MSI Katana. Otherwise, I would go for the Legion. The performance difference between the RTX 4060 and 4070 isn’t huge, but you’ll appreciate the Legion’s better build and CPU.
I was considering the same options but decided to save up a bit more for a better model. If you can aim for the Lenovo with an i7-13650HX, it’s a great investment. Otherwise, try to get the latest 14th gen if possible!
I’d steer clear of the LOQ; its CPU doesn’t perform well. If your budget allows, check out the Legion 5i for around $1200 with an i9 and RTX 4060. It’s a solid choice!
