Hey everyone! I’m at level 25 and have maxed out my skills in destruction, alteration, illusion, and restoration, all at level 100. My magicka is sitting at 280. I’m trying to figure out the most effective spell I can create for dealing damage. Any suggestions or ideas?

For an effective spell, look at combining a few damage types. Consider making a spell that deals Damage Health plus Fire, Frost, and Shock, all at 10 damage for 3 seconds. Also, add in Weakness to Fire, Frost, and Shock to really amp up the damage—just don’t forget, the sequence matters to maximize effectiveness. And if you can, throw in a Paralyze effect for some crowd control!
Destruction magic is cool, but a bit weak compared to others. You might want to explore conjuration and illusion for stronger overall effectiveness. Illusion spells like Rage can turn enemies against each other, which saves you a lot of hassle. Plus, damaging fatigue or speed can really turn the tide in tricky battles. Just remember, there’s more to magic than just health damage!
If you’re looking for sheer effectiveness, try a series of magic weakness spells followed by a damage spell for that combo. To keep it fun, maybe a 12-second damage over time spell with decent area coverage can help in those tough fights. If you’re up against multiple enemies, hitting them all will save you mana and deal great damage. Also, consider using conjuration; summons can be a powerhouse and really stretch your damage output!
It really depends on what you’re aiming for! If you’re sticking to one spell, you might want to keep things simple. Something like Drain Health with added fire damage and weakness effects would be great for dealing consistent damage. Just make sure you balance the cost, like keeping it under 40 mana for easier casting.
Are you suggesting those are separate spells or should they be combined into one? Using weakness spells for damage might not give the desired effect if spammed, right?
