Hey everyone! I’m currently stuck in low elo and I primarily play as a one-trick Mordekaiser. I’m curious about which champions are considered really strong options when I face off against him in the top lane. If Mordekaiser gets picked, who should I use instead?

Honestly, there’s no single champ that can consistently outshine others. League’s all about that rock-paper-scissors dynamic. You might want to try some off-meta picks that aren’t frequently seen, like Lulu. She’s versatile with her spells and can really turn the tide in fights, especially with a well-fed team!
Gwen is super strong right now, especially at lower ranks. But I’m curious, does she really perform that well in low elo? She can be tricky to master.
Yorick and Darius are pretty much the go-to champs to stomp low elo, and they actually do quite well against Morde. Dr. Mundo is also a solid choice since Mordekaiser can’t ult him while he has his CC immunity up. Just watch out for Morde’s E and you should be able to dominate in a 1v1.
If you’re thinking outside the box, how about trying a ranged champ like Caitlyn, Jinx, or Ezreal? If you want to mess around with mages, Mel, Veigar, Heimerdinger, or even Teemo could work too!
For sure, Garen is an option too, but just a heads up: don’t pick Garen into Mordekaiser, it can backfire pretty hard! He’s great against many champs, but Morde can really mess him up with that ult.
