I’m looking to buy an Nvidia graphics card on the used market, with a budget around $350. I want to play more demanding AAA games like Helldivers 2 and Stalker 2 at high settings (not ultra) on a 1080p display. I’ve heard that 8GB of VRAM might not cut it for many games anymore in 2025, so I’m hoping to find something with 12GB or even 16GB if possible. Any recommendations?

I recently picked up an RX 7700 for $430, and while it’s not the best for ray tracing, it performs great in most games with 60+ fps and often hits 144+ fps. If you’re looking strictly under $350, though, you might want to check for used options like a b580.
If you can find an RTX 3080 with 12GB of VRAM within your budget, that would probably be your best bet. It’s a solid card for 1080p and can handle most AAA games well at high settings.
Yeah, the $350 range will mostly yield older models or used cards, so definitely keep an eye on what’s available.
