I’m going to be away for two months and need a cheap laptop to play World of Warcraft since I can’t take my desktop with me. I’m hoping to spend no more than $500 CAD or $350 USD. I’m not planning on doing much beyond dailies, maybe some LFR, and legacy raids. Any recommendations would be appreciated, as I’m not very tech-savvy.

A solid option is the Dell i7 5590 with an NVIDIA GPU. You can grab one for about $275 on eBay. Just make sure it has that Nvidia card and at least 16GB of RAM for better performance!
Avoid my 2017 Macbook if you want to run WoW – it struggles big time, especially in larger raids, dropping to around 2 fps!
Honestly, any of the $200 generic laptops on Amazon will run WoW. Sure, it won’t be on high settings, but you can still enjoy the game without spending a fortune!
Check out used Lenovo laptops on eBay with a graphics card; you should be able to find one for under $400. Just search for Lenovo T laptops with Nvidia GPUs!
I’ve seen some players running WoW on a Steam Deck, and it works pretty well! You can even play it on a 4K TV on low settings and get a decent 30-60 fps. Just make sure you tweak the settings to your liking; it feels really smooth!
Yeah, I’m really enjoying mine too! It feels way more fluid than mouse and keyboard, but the chat is the only place I can see it falling short.
Considering your budget, the Steam Deck might actually be your best bet compared to any traditional laptop!
Totally back this up! The Steam Deck has been awesome for solo play, though chatting can be tricky without a keyboard. A Bluetooth keyboard can help with that.
