Hey fellow gamers! I’m on the hunt for a great 1440p gaming monitor that supports refresh rates from 144Hz to 240Hz, and I’m hoping to keep the price under $500. Ideally, I’d love to find something around $300. If you’ve found a monitor you’re really happy with, I’d appreciate your recommendations. Let’s hear about the monitors you love and use! Thanks a ton!

When searching for monitors, I highly recommend checking out rtings.com. That site has great comparisons and reviews for monitors and TVs!
With a budget up to $500, you can find some amazing 27″ 1440p 240Hz OLEDs now. That’s what I have, and I’m absolutely loving it!
If you’re willing to wait a bit, I saw the FO27Q2 go for under $550 recently. Plus, some older OLEDs usually priced around $600-700 might drop to about $500 during sales. Definitely worth considering!
I just picked up two Samsung G51Cs on sale for $180 each. They’re 1440p, 165Hz, and IPS. Not the absolute top-tier, but unbeatable at that price and I haven’t had issues yet!
For $500, you could grab an awesome QHD 240Hz OLED HDR display instead of sticking with IPS. I’m using the Samsung Odyssey G6 and can’t get enough of it; my friend loves his too!
You should definitely check out Dell’s gaming monitors! My buddy snagged a 34-inch 2K for about $200, and my girlfriend found a 27-inch for only $150. Both are 144Hz and 180Hz, so they’re pretty solid options!
I’ve also got a Dell Curved Gaming Monitor around 30 inches, 1440p, 144Hz, and it was under $300. It’s been fantastic for gaming!
This is exactly what I was looking for! If you’re near the OLED price range, I’d say go for OLED; they’re unbeatable in quality.
