Hey everyone! I got a PC about a year ago, and just two days ago, I’ve started hearing this weird “slurping” sound when I start it up or when it’s sitting idle. It sounds like someone trying to drink the last drops through a straw. The good news is, it goes away when I actually use the PC. Is this something I should worry about? Is it normal, or should I be concerned? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

It sounds like you might have an AIO cooler. That slurping sound is usually due to a trapped air bubble in the cooling system. When the PC is under load, the pump might be using its stock fan profile, which isn’t ideal. I’d suggest setting your pump to a steady speed—around 50-65% should do for most setups—so it doesn’t agitate the liquid too much. After that, check your CPU temperatures under load to make sure it’s still cooling properly with a benchmark tool like Cinebench.

Got it! Yeah, I have an AIO cooler since it’s pre-built. I guess I’ll look into changing those settings. Thanks a ton!
