I’ve taken a break from the game for a week, and now I’m back to some frustrating performance problems. I usually run on a decent QHD setup that keeps up with 80fps, but now I’ve dropped to around 60fps. It gets really choppy whenever there are several casters in a group. The first boss in Meadery is a nightmare with all the fog effects during ‘pub brawls,’ making it super hard to control my character. Many players think it’s related to the Addon Profiler, but Blizzard seems to be denying this while getting lots of feedback. I can’t find any solutions or even confirmation that Blizzard is aware of this issue. Has anyone heard anything helpful about it?

Honestly, I don’t think the Addon Profiler is the real culprit here. It might be your other addons causing the mess. Try turning down those graphics settings or even disabling some addons that are known to cause lag (like ElvUI), and you might see some improvement. The CPU profiler should hardly be an issue if it’s set up right!
A lot of players are feeling the pain with FPS drops lately. I noticed mine dipping too! It’s kind of the perfect storm with multiple casters handling fog effects—it’s rough. Just hoping Blizzard comes out with some fixes soon!
You can’t just blame the addons without considering system setups. Different patches can break things that worked fine before. Some players have reported that turning off the profiler actually fixed their issues, so there’s definitely something to dive into!
