Hey everyone! I’m considering selling my old PC to a close friend, and I’m looking for some advice on what it’s really worth. I don’t want to make a huge profit, but I also don’t want to undervalue it. Just to clarify, I’ve upgraded most of the components, so I’m missing the SSD/HDD and power supply. Here are the specs I have:
– PC Case: BeQuiet Pure Base 500DX black
– CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor
– Mainboard: MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk (AM4)
– RAM: DDR4 16GB kit (2×8 GB) PC 3200 Kingston Fury Beast KF432C16BBK2/16
– Cooling: BeQuiet Silent Loop 2 water cooling 240mm
– GPU: Gainward GeForce RTX 3070 8GB Phantom +
I was thinking of selling it for around €600. Is that too much, or could I ask for more? Keep in mind my friend will need to buy an SSD and power supply to make it work.

For the components you listed, €600 feels fair to me. With the relevance of the 5800X3D, people are often looking for those, so you’re in a good spot!
You might want to check prices on PCPartPicker for a good gauge. But from what I know, that setup would easily go for around $1200-$1400 CAD with a power supply and a 1TB SSD included. So your €600 seems like a sweet deal!
Will do that, thanks!
Honestly, the GPU alone is worth a good chunk, probably half of your asking price. I think your €600 is more than reasonable for that setup!
Thank you very much!
