I’m noticing that Nintendo seems to be leaning towards going fully digital, and I can’t help but wonder what that means for the future of gaming. If all game companies followed suit and stopped producing physical copies, how would you all feel about that? Would it change how you game or even make you rethink your gaming habits?

Physical games, for me, are still the way to go. I buy most of my titles physically because you can often find better deals at retail prices. If that disappeared, I’d probably switch to PC completely!
I’m all for digital, but I totally see the appeal of having physical copies. You can sell them or even trade them in, which is a huge plus. I think if all companies went digital, I’d be out of the console market.
To be honest, I wouldn’t be too bothered. I’ve gone mostly digital for a long time now, but I get that many people still cherish physical copies. I just hope digital prices become more competitive!
Honestly, I haven’t bought a physical game in over a decade. Still, I think it’s a bad move overall since a good chunk of gamers prefer having physical copies. It’s about choice, you know?
I’d hate it! There’s something special about holding a game in your hands, and not being able to resell or trade in games would really suck. Plus, a lot of people enjoy collecting physical media.
