What Would a Predator Crossover Look Like in Helldivers?

-

I’m curious about what a Predator crossover would involve in Helldivers. Would it simply add a new enemy type, the Predator, that would appear during random missions to hunt Helldivers? Think about how agile it would need to be, complete with its classic cloaking ability. This enemy could be equipped with its shoulder-mounted plasma cannon, net gun, wrist blades, smart disc, and combistick! I’d also love to see some new gear like an under-barrel grenade launcher for rifles, a plasma drone, an elder sword, and possibly a mini-gun support weapon. On the cosmetic side, woodland camo reminiscent of the first movie, unique helmets, and armor inspired by the franchise could be awesome. Plus, a new title like “Yautja Hunter” along with a card displaying the iconic three red dots could add to the thrill. Finding skinned victims of the Predators strung upside down on maps would really amp up the atmosphere! What do you all think?

Totally agree with avoiding premature announcements, just like Ghost Recon messed up. Let players be surprised in-game as the first victims of the Predator! Imagine it appearing in only .001% of missions, staying cloaked until it’s time to hunt, and only showing up on forested planets. If players hit it, leave behind just glowing blood as evidence. Let the community speculate and build an urban legend around it! After a couple of weeks, then announce it and drop a warbond to deal with the new threat!

I love that idea! It would really build the suspense.

This concept is amazing! I’d maybe suggest adding a thin blue line on the Helldiver the Predator’s targeting, and don’t forget those classic three red dots!

This idea could create an epic enemy type! Imagine calling it a ‘Cloaker’ or ‘Shadow.’ It could have a shoulder cannon that fires like a sniper while being super agile. Picture it dropping out of cloak for a split second to take a shot — you’d only get a brief moment to spot it. It could shimmer with blue eyes as it moves and have a creepy scream to keep you on edge. Plus, if you get too close, watch out for its fast melee attacks!
