Hey everyone! I want to know what version of the PlayStation 5 you all own. I have the standard PS5 that my son loves to play on, and I just ordered a PS5 Pro for myself. Are you considering upgrading to a different version? How do you feel about what you currently have? Any regrets or satisfaction?

I upgraded to the PS5 Pro as soon as it was available and I have zero regrets. The visuals are way better, and I can really appreciate 4K gaming now. I’m definitely sticking with the Pro until the next generation drops.
That’s solid! The Pro has made a notable difference in the gaming experience, especially with some heavy-hitters like the newer releases.
Still rocking my base PS5 that I got at launch. Honestly, I don’t feel the need to upgrade. My TV can’t even do 120fps, so the Pro seems overkill right now.
True, but at some point, you might want the upgrade to future-proof your setup. Have you thought about changing your TV too?
Exactly! The base PS5 handles most games well. But if you do eventually upgrade your TV, the Pro will definitely give you that extra boost.
I bought the PS5 Slim last November and I’m pretty happy with it. I had the PS4 Slim and just wanted something more compact, and so far, it’s been great for my needs! No plans to upgrade right now.
Sounds like a good choice! The Slim is a nice balance if you don’t need the extra power of the Pro.
Totally get that! Sometimes smaller is better, especially for space-saving.
I’ve had my base PS5 since launch and I still think it’s great for what I need. I see no point in shelling out more for the Pro; the performance boost just doesn’t seem worth it to me. Plus, I’m all about that simplicity.
I get that! I had the PS4 base model and felt the same until I finally upgraded. But the Pro just had something that felt right once I made the switch.
Yeah, I feel the same way! But have you played any games that really pushed the limits of the base? Sometimes it’s those upgrades that catch you off guard.

Nice! That sounds awesome. I’ve been tempted, but I’m not sure if it’s necessary for me yet. What games are you playing that take advantage of the Pro’s power?
