I’m trying to set up my intake fan to function as an exhaust fan, but I’ve run into an issue: the fan only has screw threads on one side, which is the wrong side for my setup. Are there longer screws I should look for or any workarounds?

I had a similar issue with my fan last month. I ended up using some rubber grommets to secure it in place and allow it to function as an exhaust. It’s a little DIY fix, but it worked great for me.
It sounds like you’re dealing with a fan that’s not designed for your mounting situation. If you’re looking to mount it the other way, longer screws could work, but make sure they’re not too long to avoid contact with the fan blades. Alternatively, you might consider getting a fan with mounting holes on both sides, so you don’t have to deal with this issue in the future.
