I’ve been facing a frustrating issue where my games start lagging after some time, and I realized it’s due to my GPU overheating. The weird part is that it’s showing a temperature of just 28°C, but I can feel it’s much hotter to the touch. Because the system thinks it’s cool, the fans aren’t kicking in, and the GPU throttles when it gets too hot. I’m using the FanControl app to manage the fan speeds, but even the task manager shows the same incorrect temp. Does anyone have a fix for this?

This sounds like a driver issue. Try updating to the latest hotfix from your GPU manufacturer, or if you’ve recently updated, you might want to roll back to a previous version to see if that helps.
Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date. If it’s still acting up, consider checking if there’s a firmware update for your GPU as well. Sometimes, a simple driver or firmware update can fix these weird temp readings.
