I’m looking to upgrade my gaming PC which currently has an RX 6600 GPU, an Intel i5 11400F processor, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. I’ve got a budget of about $700. What’s the best first step for upgrading?

If you’re focusing on gaming, upgrading the GPU is usually your best bet. The RX 6600 is decent for budget gaming, but with more demanding titles, you’ll get better performance from a stronger graphics card. It’s the most crucial part for enhancing your gaming experience.

Don’t forget about your CPU! A lot of modern games are pretty CPU-heavy, so while the RX 6600 does its job, your i5 could be limiting performance too. If you’re sticking with DDR4, maybe consider getting another 16GB RAM to boost your performance to 32GB, as that helps in many newer games.
