I’m planning to build my first PC with a budget of $600. Here’s what I’m considering so far: GPU: GTX 1660 Super, CPU: either Intel i5 12400F or Ryzen 5 3600, RAM: 16GB DDR4, Motherboard: B450M or B760M, and a Corsair Gold 600W PSU. I’ve never built a PC before, though I have some knowledge of which parts are good and have seen a few build videos. I can install RAM and GPU, but I’m unsure about some components like the thing that goes on top of the CPU (not the cooler). Since I’ve never owned a PC, I’d really appreciate any tips or advice!

You should be able to build that for less than $600, unless you’re budgeting in a different currency. Check out this updated build I made for you: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6XNknp). It gives you a good starting point!
There are quite a few things to consider! First off, are you going for Windows or Mac? Windows tends to be more flexible for gaming and building your own rig. Just keep that in mind as you make your choices!
I’m definitely going with Windows; I’m not sure I can install Mac on a PC.

Holy thank you! This looks way better. If you have more tips or could help me with the building, I’d appreciate it!
