I’ve been playing as a free-to-play player for most of my Hearthstone journey, only buying about five season passes over the years. After a lot of time spent on budget decks and dealing with nerfs, I finally decided to dust a large portion of my unused cards, which left me with over 200k dust (about 38k ready to go). Recently, I’ve started crafting cards from the latest expansion, including some fun options like Gilly and a few Nebulas. This got me thinking about how to best use my remaining dust and gold. I prefer hero skins over packs and am considering keeping enough for the commons and rares needed for new expansions without overspending. Any tips or suggestions on how I can make the most out of my resources?

Honestly, I got burned by the last expansion after crafting a bunch of cards that just didn’t work out. So, my advice? Just focus on what you want to enjoy right now and remember, don’t get too attached to anything you craft! Blizzard doesn’t really let you own them.
Dude, with 200k dust, you’re sitting on a mountain! Just craft what you genuinely enjoy playing. I mean, I’ve got only 20k dust and I’m more selective, usually grabbing 2-3 legendaries that really interest me each expansion. Don’t overthink it, go wild with what makes you happy!
Golden Gruul, baby! Sometimes it’s all about the bling and having fun with your collection.
You have a solid foundation as a player! Maybe consider crafting some of the key wild cards for signature decks, like Loatheb or Reno. They can really up your game if you enjoy wild play!
I literally crafted a golden demon hunter pirate that took me to legend, and somehow I ended up with more dust than I started with!
I’ve been around since 2013 with some breaks myself! I aim to keep my standard collection complete and save up enough gold to buy packs for each new expansion. Right now, I’ve got a full collection and about 30k dust just waiting for my next move.
Noted! That’s a solid strategy.
Honestly, I go all-in and craft every Demon Hunter card every expansion, but that’s just me!
