There’s been a lot of buzz about a potential remake of Final Fantasy IX, and I’m curious about what could happen with Tetra Master, the card game system that never really caught on. Should it stay as it was in the original game, get simplified, be replaced with something else like Triple Triad or another new card game? What are your thoughts?

Honestly, I say keep it in the remake but add some cool rewards for playing, similar to what we saw in FF7 Remake. It could make it more engaging without changing too much.
I think the main issue with Tetra Master is its randomness. If they made the card values always equal to the number on the card’s face, it would be much better. Just remove that random element, and it’ll be way more fun to play.
