I’m wondering what server is best suited for Retail PvE gameplay. Does the server really make a difference in how I enjoy the game, or should I just pick one at random?

Going with a high-pop realm is generally good for activity. While it can get a bit chaotic in trade chat, it means you’ll find more players for things like crafting and events. Just remember that a high-pop realm doesn’t have to be full—anything busy but not capped is a safe pick.
Right? A52 can be a headache with all the nonsense in trade chat, but you can always find someone to help out with work orders or island content.
Honestly, the server you choose doesn’t matter nearly as much as it used to. Sure, picking a higher population realm like A52 or Illidan is a solid choice if you want to be around people, especially for Horde. It’s more about convenience these days since you can join cross-realm guilds and such, but on higher-pop servers, it’s easier to find people to team up with for events and quests.
Are there any sites where I can check current server populations? I’d love to ensure I’m picking a good one!
