I’m wrapping up Pokémon Unbound soon, and I’m on the hunt for my next game. I’ve previously enjoyed titles like Final Fantasy IX, X, Bravely Default, and the Kingdom Hearts series. I’m really into turn-based RPGs or any good RPGs in general. Ideally, I’d like something on the cheaper side, but I’m open to any suggestions. Also, I prefer games I can play while watching TV, so something that’s good for tuning in and out would be great. Thanks for your recommendations!

You should totally check out Dragon Quest XI! It’s a fantastic turn-based RPG. Also, Ys 8 or 9 are solid picks if you want something a bit different. Nier Automata is a bit action-oriented, but it’s amazing. Don’t forget about Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Octopath Traveler 1 and 2—they both have unique storytelling and gameplay!
Persona 4 Golden is a steal at $20. It’s a great RPG that demands a bit of attention but offers so much content. Just remember, there’s currently a sale where it’s only going for $10!
Wow, only $10? That’s a great deal for such a popular title!
Seriously, don’t overlook Octopath Traveler! It’s highly rated and feels fresh from the demo. Also, The Lunar Remaster is a classic RPG with a phenomenal story and gameplay—definitely worth a shot!
I love classic RPGs! The Lunar series is where it’s at, can’t wait to try the remaster!
A new game just came out called Expedition 33, and you can play it on cloud gaming with Game Pass. I’ve heard mixed reviews though; might want to wait for a patch if you’re hesitant!
That’s good to know. I was excited about it, but I’ve seen some bad reviews pop up too.
I’ve been eyeing Yakuza: Like a Dragon too! Can I jump right into that one or should I play the earlier series first?
