I’m feeling inspired by the nostalgic soundtrack of The Sims 1 and want to create a lighthearted short campaign. The idea is to have players take on different family roles, like a grandma’s ghost who’s haunting the house, dealing with accidental fires, a vampire neighbor obsessed with making blood sausages, and even aliens abducting male characters! I’m looking for the perfect RPG system that could fit this fun, chaotic theme. Any suggestions?

This is such a cute idea! I could see Electric Bastionland being a blast for this. You might want to tweak the stats to fit Sims-style needs like Hunger, Bladder, and Social, and create fun events that mess with those needs throughout the game.
Have you considered Pasion de las Pasiones? It might capture some of that melodramatic flair!
The WArP system could also work well for your campaign! It’s designed for flexible storytelling with a quirky twist, making it perfect for all those strange happenings your players will encounter.
2400 Habs & Gardens could be a fantastic fit! It has that whimsical vibe that matches perfectly with the quirky elements of The Sims. Plus, the mechanics can really add some depth to those hilarious scenarios you’re thinking about!
Looks interesting, indeed!
