I just came across a post about lava being considered a renewable resource, which got me thinking about what other materials we might want to farm in the game. Expanding my farms is one of my favorite aspects, so I’d love to get some suggestions! Personally, I was thinking an iron farm could be cool, but I worry that it might be too overpowered and could ruin the mining experience. I know you can make one with iron golems, but it feels a bit immersion-breaking for me. What do you all think?

I’d love to have a more humane iron farm. Also, if non-renewable resources could become renewable, I think Lapis would be a great choice. Getting enough for big builds can be super annoying, even with Fortune 3, so it would be nice if that resource were more accessible.
How about sand? It’s technically renewable through the wandering trader, but trying to create a sand farm without duping is really challenging. Sand is crucial for making concrete and TNT, but it can feel like a hassle to gather tons of it manually.
Totally agree! I’m not into cheating, but collecting sand can be such a time sink. A sand farm without duping sounds perfect. Maybe it could be added as a villager trade instead of relying on the wandering trader.
Absolutely! It would also be awesome to find a way to farm gravel. That could work hand in hand with a sand farm!
Good point! Lapis is technically renewable through clerics, but it still feels tedious to gather!
