I’ve been seeing various T.E.D.D.Y. setups during missions and I’m curious to know if Jingle Jess’s infinite T.E.D.D.Y. is still the top choice, or have things evolved? It’s been quite a while since I last checked.

Personally, my favorite build includes Trailblazer Quinn with Happy Holidays, supported by Jingle Jess, Madcap, Fragment Flurry Jess, Old Glory A.C., and Jilly Teacup. Of course, Cyberclops or Gumshoe are viable alternatives, but this loadout offers a really satisfying blend of power and utility for me.
In my experience, the ultimate T.E.D.D.Y. build for all levels up to endgame is Trailblazer Quinn as your Commander, with Happy Holidays for the team perk. Support with Jilly Teacup, Madcap, Jingle Jess, Old Glory A.C., and Fragment Flurry Jess. The synergy with Madcap and Jilly Teacup has really improved the effectiveness. A fragment gives just a 3-second downtime, making it even better than the traditional infinite T.E.D.D.Y. setups, especially in lower levels with faster fire rate boosts. I’ve been supercharging these heroes because it’s my go-to ventures loadout.
Mission level plays a massive role in determining the best T.E.D.D.Y. build. The infinite T.E.D.D.Y. strategy excels in the lower zones like Stonewood and Plankerton and remains viable through parts of Canny Valley. But around Twine, it’s less impressive. However, energy T.E.D.D.Y. builds can be quite effective in the mid Twine missions, particularly when paired with other hero abilities or weapons. Likewise, Dragon Scorch and the Dragon Slash ability have seen similar patterns in effectiveness across different mission levels.
Various loadouts maximize T.E.D.D.Y.’s output. Madcap coupled with Happy Holidays and Enforcer Grizzly offers substantial damage, alongside Fragment Flurry Jess, Gumshoe, Jilly, then either Old Glory A.C., Trailblazer, or Willow. The choice between these depends on whether you want faster cooldowns or more damage directly. Alternatively, Cyberclops can be substituted in the main slot for another damage boost. Fragment Flurry Jess as Commander is another solid choice when you need constant fragment charges due to competitive public matches.
